What is the AI-Powered Jobsearch book series?
AI-Powered Jobsearch: Getting Your Ducks in a Row is a hands-on workbook series by Dr Stephen Hall, built around the Five Ducks framework: a resume that survives the screen, bridge work that closes the gap, a verifiable AI micro-credential, a LinkedIn profile that makes you findable, and an ePortfolio that proves what you claim. Which edition of the book is right for me?
If you’re job-hunting after 50 in any field, the Mature-Age Jobseekers edition is written for you. If you’re an international graduate proving yourself to employers in a new country, the International Students edition follows three students through real interviews in the US, UK, and Australia. Both use the same Five Ducks framework and work with any AI assistant.
Who is Lilli B?
Lilli B is Skillset Centre’s AI assistant. She powers tools like the AI Jargon Decoder and is woven through the Five Ducks framework in the books to help you apply what you’re learning — without ever doing the work for you.

What are the career quizzes, and are they scientifically validated?
Skillset Centre offers five quizzes — Ikigai, Mindset, Work Culture, Employability, and Personal Values — designed around established career-development frameworks to help you understand your career DNA. They’re for educational purposes rather than clinical assessment, though users anecdotally report around 85% accuracy. No data is kept for casual users.
Do I need prior AI experience to use Skillset Centre or the books?
No. Every AI tool and term used across the site and in the books is explained in plain language the first time it comes up. You don’t need any prior AI experience to get value from either.
Which AI assistant do I need — ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or Gemini?
Any of them. Every prompt and method in the books and on the site is written to work with whichever AI assistant you already use — none is a requirement.
Is my quiz or account data private?
For casual, anonymous quiz-takers, no data is kept. If you set up a Career Success account for detailed, saved reporting, that data is used only to power your own career and job-search plan.
